Concerning complex structures the fabrication of prototypes is essential. Prototypes enable us creating a final evaluation concerning the function, usability and quality of design. Moreover, they allow strength, tolerance and assembly testing under realistic conditions. We are using the following methods:
Virtual Prototype (3D CAD):
- Rendering (photorealistic representation)

- simulation of motion sequences and cable routing
- FEM analysis (Finite Element Method): calculation of stress and deformation (fracture mechanic)
